Finished Paris Ornament


I did the finishing on my Paris Ornament last night. My 1st pinkeep! I really like how it turned out. It's going to be a Christmas gift for my SIL. I don't know if she's ever been to Paris, but the colors in the design have her name all of it!

I didn't have all the fiber's called for in the pattern so I fudged them a little. I did not use the Krienik it called for (my LNS didn't have it in stock and I hate waiting for it). I found some really cool Le Nouveau looking beads at AC more and decided to use them for my pin heads.
I stitched this piece twice so I'm going to finish the other in the same manner, eventually. I noticed I screwed the stitching up somewhere on the top of the Eiffel tower so now I've got to find the booboo and fix it! The only change I'm thinking of making is to add one seed bead (same one used in the eiffel tower) to the tip of the beaded pins.
