I'm still laughing about it.

I was sitting in the passenger seat and she was determined to get that cat out of there. I'm not really a cat person, but this cat looked right at her and then squatted with a look of determination in his eyes. I bet the whole neighborhood heard you tell that cat off... 8-)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2547658465513304004.post-71642438171387123742008-02-19T12:23:00.000-05:002008-02-19T12:23:00.000-05:00that is too funny! we have quite a few outdoor cat...that is too funny! we have quite a few outdoor cats in the neighborhood (we are not cat people, don't hate them but don't want them in the yard doing their business either). I yell at them, throw a rock in the vicinity of them (not right at them, not that i would ever make my target even though i play softball). if they don't leave then i open the front door with the screen closed and let the dogs do the barking, that gets them away for awhile. Now the neighbors dog on the other hand (along with their bratty kids) whatever it takes to get rid of that da** dog. their kids ride their bikes through our grass, DH is gonna blow a gasket here real soon, its been everyday but the parents are not "parents" so not much but yelling on our parts.
good luck with keeping the kitty out of your yard. hugs,karenKarenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10785139952602149640noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2547658465513304004.post-44693056135104991752008-02-19T11:14:00.000-05:002008-02-19T11:14:00.000-05:00I am an animal lover to no end, but I can see how ...I am an animal lover to no end, but I can see how people get annoyed with outdoor cats belonging to someone else. I don't agree with cats being left outside, but that's an argument for another day.

The Skat Mats are a mild shock - similar to the static electricty shocks you get in the winter. It startles the cat, but doesn't hurt them. The mats were originally intended to keep cats off counters and furniture.

You can also try orange and lemon peels (cats dislike citrus smells), cayenne pepper, coffee grounds, pipe tobacco, lavender oil, lemon grass oil, citronella oil, peppermint oil, eucalyptus oil, and mustard oil.Jenniferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17432778814708875811noreply@blogger.com
